In the Danube Delta, under the name of fish borscht, you can eat a delicious soup, prepared by each family according to an old basic recipe, but refined by each one according to their own experience.

The fish borsch from Lipoveni is made from several types of fish: pike, catfish, carp, crucian. A fish borscht, according to the traditional recipe, is made from at least 5 species of fish.
