Danube Delta

The Danube Delta is a vast wetland located in Romania, where the Danube River flows into the Black Sea. It is one of the largest deltas in Europe and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique ecosystem and biodiversity.
The delta is made up of a complex network of channels, lakes, and marshes, covering an area of over 4,000 square kilometers. It is home to over 5,000 species of plants and animals, many of which are rare and endangered.
